I’ve been studying with Alsama Language School for almost three years now, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. As a teacher, Mariam is wonderful. She brings not only great enthusiasm to every class but also real patience and rigour. She arrives thoroughly prepared, and the material she chooses is genuinely fascinating in its own right, so the language advances almost as a by-product of conversations I actually want to have. I studied with Mariam at Alsama Language school for two years. In that time, I went from not knowing a single letter to being able to speak pretty fluently. The course is structured to make living in Lebanon easy, and so within only a few months I was able to confidently negotiate with taxi drivers, order food, and exchange money. Mariam designs the lessons to your needs, and as you get more advanced you can tailor the topics to your interests.
